About Mothers En Vogue
The BackgroundSince its inception in November 2003, Mothers En Vogue (MEV) has become one of Singapore's leading breastfeeding fashion label. Mothers en Vogue designs, produces and distributes its own line of Breastfeeding and Maternity apparel. As an innovator of unique breastfeeding wear, MEV is now sold through distributors and specialist stores worldwide.
Mothers en Vogue was founded by Sharon Ho-Norton - an ardent breastfeeding mother of 2 - who, armed with a background in design and a professional career in marketing, saw the need to fill a gap in clothing solutions for breastfeeding moms. Sharon conceived Mothers en Vogue at a time when the Singapore and international markets offered very little options in the way of practical yet great-quality, fashionable clothing for breastfeeding mothers. This was especially true in Singapore where there was a growing population of more style-discerning mothers who were not only more aware of breastfeeding but also wanted to breastfeed longer.
Mothers En Vogue was then launched to offer this growing segment of style and quality discerning mothers thoroughly sleek, modern yet comfortable, quality nursing and maternity clothes - all this plus an unmistakable hint of fluidity and sensuality in its designs.
The proposition behind Mothers En Vogue is that - without having to compromise on the way they dress or look - more women will be encouraged by the benefits and convenience of breastfeeding and hence be inclined to breastfeed longer.
